Sony continues to innovate its line of wireless headphones with the addition of the bass-forward WH-XB91ON over-ear headphones.
We’ve spoken about the importance today’s modern lad places on peace and quiet – God knows it’s a hard enough thing to find in this busy world – which makes a decent pair of headphones all the more important, whether you’re trying to connect with colleagues over a Zoom call or are simply trying to survive your commute without doing something you might be arrested for.

Continuing their innovation in the ear candy department, Sony has created the new WH-XB91ON, a decidedly unsexy name for a rather sexy looking pair of overear wireless headphones. The new headphones promise club-like bass as well as improved noise cancelling, and crystal clear call quality for when you’re pretending you’re still in the office.
The core feature of the new model is the addition of EXTRA BASS for an impressively deep, punchy sound. A dedicated bass duct on the headphone housing and increased air-tightness between the driver units and eardrums help to create precise rhythms that elevate every track. All this is achieved while still maintaining vocal clarity making it sound as though your favourite artists are performing in your bedroom.

In addition, Dual Noise Sensor technology takes digital noise cancelling to the next level so you can truly shut out the world around you, while Precise Voice Pickup Technology, which combines two built-in microphones with advanced audio signal processing, picks up your voice clearly and precisely for hands-free calls.
For audiophiles, the WH-XB91ON headphones also boast DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine), a fully customizable feature that restores digital tracks to a high-quality sound, truer to the original recording, while Adaptive Sound Control senses where the wearer is and what they’re doing, adjusting the ambient sound settings accordingly.
Made from soft synthetic leather and urethane, the new headphones also feature a 30-hour battery life, making them great for travel, as well as Sony’s popular Multipoint connection which means the headphones can be paired with two Bluetooth devices at once. This means that when you receive a call, your headphones know which device is ringing and seamlessly connect to the right one automatically. Switching devices as well as connecting with Google Assistant is as easy as just pressing a button.
