Majo
MAJO, Hong Kong’s newest Spanish restaurant, has put together a hearty family meal (dinner Dec 24 & 25 and lunch Dec 25, HK$550++ pp) to celebrate Christmas. This sumptuous family meal offering commences with an assortment of house-made tapas, including crispy croquette with truffle mayo; chilled tomato soup with eggplant, Idiazabal cheese cream and Jamón ham; green lip mussels in the sweet and sour escabeche sauce; and braised codfish in pil-pil sauce.
To follow, guests will enjoy the paella course, the Arroz Meloso de Alcachofas Sepia, which takes its name from the Spanish for “soupy rice”, and which is cooked with artichokes, cuttlefish, prawn and fava beans; and main course, the guinea fowl stuffed with chorizo, chestnut and dates is served with potato cream and baby carrot.
End this delightful festive meal with the decadent Torta Negra de Navidad Christmas cake and Arroz con Leche rice pudding and don’t forget to opt for the free flow package (HK$280++ pp), which includes sangria, cava, house-wines and mulled wine.

Sevva
Sevva rings in the festive season with festive cocktails, gourmet grills, and live music between December 9 and March 4, 2022. Every Thursday and Friday night, the lofty venue will host a three-hour unlimited grill (HK$800++ pp) from its new barbecue bars as well as signature bites at the Sevva Taste Bar; and a range of indulgent desserts. Also look out for festive cocktails ranging from Classic Eggnog through to new signature Poire Double Boil, with homemade pear broth, served hot, and finished with vodka.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, American singer and songwriter Jamal Corrie will be performing at the Sevva Terrace throughout December. The multi-talented Californian is best known for his appearance on NBC’s The Voice USA in 2020, and he is set to wow guests on the terrace with his renditions of pop, R&B, and jazz numbers.

The Hari
The Hari Hong Kong unveils its series of culinary delights and festive offerings in anticipation of Christmas and New Year celebrations. At Lucciola Restaurant & Bar, celebrate Christmas with an authentic Italian semi-buffet (Dec 25 & 26 from HK$988++ pp) crafted by Chef de Cuisine Francesco Gava (above).
The meal commences with an Italian aperitivo at the bar with a seafood platter of oysters, scampi, and caviar, before continuing with a choice of mains including Fettuccine Paglia e Fieno al Burro di Malga e Tartufo Nero, handcrafted fettuccine with alpine butter, and black truffle; Il Polletto Ruspante alla Romana, braised spring chicken with Peperonata and Mentuccia; and Il Filetto di Branzino all’Acqua Pazza, Chilean sea bass fillet in a black mussel and Veraci clam broth). Alternatively, at Zoku Restaurant & The Terrace, a tasteful tribute to the culinary culture of Japan by Chef de Cuisine Edwin Guzman tempts the taste buds. The festive menus (Dec 25 & 26; Jan 1 & 2; from HK$788) will include the Zoku sashimi and sushi platter as well as Guindara Misoyaki, miso-marinated sea bass with pickled myoga; and Wagyu steak with grilled spring onion, seared foie gras, and spicy miso. Osteria Marzia
Enjoy a feast fit for a classic holiday experience on the coastal shores of Italy with Osteria Marzia’s Festa Dei Sette Pesci (24 & 25 December, dinner only, HK$698++ pp). Chef Luca Marinelli presents a menu brimming with the ocean’s bounty, from the classic Hamachi with cherry tomatoes to the delicately prepared Seppia, an exquisitely presented cuttlefish with basil, pistachio, a squeeze of Sorrento lemon, and a dusting of Sicilian breadcrumb.

Modern Australian restaurant Hue Dining makes the most of its exquisite panoramic views to create the perfect setting for a lingering Christmas celebration with set lunch and dinner menus, champagne brunch, and festive afternoon tea experiences. Henry, the American steakhouse, smokehouse, and butcher concept helmed by new Chef de Cuisine Mario Tolentino, celebrates with a Three-Course Christmas Eve Menu (Dec 24, HK$1,688++ pp) including complimentary oysters and Champagne to start, and also a Festive Christmas Lunch Set (Dec 25-26, HK$1,498++ pp).

Pirata
X marks the spot for festive delights at Pirata, where Italian feasts and wine pairings (Dec 24 & 25, brunch HK$428++ pp and dinner HK$590++ pp) will be the order of the day over Christmas and New Year periods. Inspired by the traditional Sunday roast, where the family will get together to enjoy a leisurely feast, guests can choose from a selection of roast meats, including succulent herb-smoked USDA turkey with sourdough gravy; or the “char siu” smoked and glazed ham.
