Tom Ford’s first-ever men’s Fall/Winter runway show proves the perfect chance for the designer to debut his new Tom Ford 001 watch and underwear collections.
Tom Ford took New York by storm recently with the release of his Fall/Winter line, which includes a couple of exciting firsts for the popular designer. The new Tom Ford 001 watch collection – which joins the Tom Ford lifestyle brand’s beauty, eyewear, and ready-to-wear lines – features Swiss-made unisex timepieces in a selection of eight sleek, rectangular cases, across two sizes.

Each case will be available in 18-karat yellow gold, brushed and polished stainless steel, and a matte black DLC. Over fifty interchangeable straps in a series of colours and materials, including hand-woven braided leather, stitched leather, pebbled grain leather, and alligator, will allow for serious personalisation. The first of its kind, the watch-case has been designed for quick strap changes and is priced from US$2,100.
Texas-born Ford also launched his anticipated Men’s Underwear collection, which features striking boxer shorts (he’s bringing them back baby!) in silky animal prints and metallic hues and, new to menswear, a range of nude flesh tones, all of which are off-set with the Tom Ford logo waistband in house-signature velvet.

The complete underwear range will also include core styles, including T-shirts and tanks. Prices range from US$50 for pure cottons, through US$300 for silks and prints.
Other highlights of the new Fall/Winter line up include snakeskin puffer jackets, neon sneakers, a tiger camo blazer and flight cargo pants, and more of his iconic tuxedo jackets.
