Watchmaker Bremont celebrates one of the calendar’s greatest road races with The Isle of Man TT Limited Edition.
Even those who don’t watch motorsports will be familiar with the speed and thrills of the Isle of Man TT (or Tourist Trophy), a notorious, nail-biting, heart-thumping motorcycle racing event that has traced its way through the narrow lanes of the pint-sized island since its inception in 1907.
Official Timing Partner Bremont continues its collaboration with the event with its new addition. The Bremont Isle of Man TT Limited Edition is a robust, high performance 43mm chronograph with a tachymeter function, a must-have for high-speed circuit runs like the TT.
The new timepiece also features a stainless steel Bremont Trip-Tick case construction with a bi-directional rotating, ceramic bezel and 56 hour power reserve.
The white dial design is inspired by a high-performance speedometer gauge with a thick black track ring running clockwise from 8 o’clock to 4 o’clock. The positioning of the gauge allows for the Isle of Man TT logo to stand proud above the date function at 6 o’clock whilst a subtle debossing of the Isle of Man triskelion can be seen on the 3 Hour subdial adjacent to a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock.
Turning the watch over reveals a closed case back decorated with a map of the TT Mountain Course. The special timepiece will be limited to only 67 pieces, a nod to the number of sections on the course, and is complemented by a black integrated rubber strap, the perfect combination for high endurance motorsports.
