Commemorating the 20th anniversary of Manchester United’s historic Treble in the 1998/99 season, Tag Heuer has unveiled the co-branded Tag Heuer x Manchester United Carrera, limited to 99 watches.
Equipped with the in-house Calibre Heuer 01 automatic movement with a 50-hour power reserve, this sporty timepiece features a black opaline dial, housed within a 45mm case, with a visible skeleton date disc and the logo of the world’s most famous football club printed on the 9 o’clock counter.
The black PVD-coated stainless steel Tag Heuer x Manchester United Carrera features a black ceramic bezel, central seconds hand and matching indexes. It’s presented on a red alligator leather and rubber strap with titanium folding clasp and black stitching.
The same red colour is found on the 60-second flange and the caseback, where the collection name and movement are also printed. The transparent caseback offers a view of the innovative mechanical movement within, while the sapphire crystal is decorated with the outline of a shield and “1999 – THE TREBLE – 20 YEARS” and “1 OF 99” written in beige.
Only 99 of this special model have been produced. They will be available at selected TAG Heuer boutiques and online.
