French auto brand Bugatti has teamed up with sound gurus Tidal Audio to create some truly Royale home audio speakers.
While for some of us (perhaps even many) our investment into home sound is limited to a second-hand Amazon Echo, a shower radio that’s seen better days, or even (gulp) just our smartphone wedged into an empty glass, for some, audio is a true passion and one which comes with a hefty price tag. Music lovers have been known to spend a king’s ransom on speakers, turntables, amplifiers, and other audio accoutrements in order to have the ultimate, immersive surround sound experience at home.

If you’re reading this and nodding, then best lock your office door because the new collaboration between Bugatti and Tidal Audio is going to get you very excited indeed.
Inspired by their shared philosophy to strive for perfection without limits, Bugatti and Tidal have created the Royale range of home speakers. The two companies, leading in their respective fields of exclusive luxury automotive design and premium audio systems, have married technical avant-garde with the visual promise of the breathtaking performance that follows to create ‘the Bugatti of home audio’.

Boasting four subwoofer drivers per speaker and a three-way front unit with a midrange-driver and tweeter with diamond diaphragms, the approximately five-foot-tall Royale is an active speaker with an extremely powerful multi-channel amplifier; diaphragms made out of diamond, ceramic and light-metal, and the ability to connect to all sources, including music streaming services, televisions, and smart devices.
Every set of speakers by Tidal and Bugatti is also subject to a very personal bespoke ordering process. Limited to just 15 pairs in each of two styles – Edition Noir and Edition Blanc – the Royale speakers can be customized with carbon fiber, fabrics, leather, polished stainless steel, dark aluminum, or even precious metal surfaces because, well…
