The One helicopter by Skyryse just might be the safest and most intuitive chopper ever built.
Ever wanted to fly your own helicopter but worried it might be a tad too tricky? Without discounting the skills involved, the Skyryse One is a chopper that almost flies itself.
If you didn’t know (or might be not appreciate it to the floral shirts they so often wear), helicopter pilots need to manipulate four separate controls, all at the same time, just to keep the aircraft in the air. They’re using both hands and both feet to keep the chopper headed in the right directions, both vertically and horizontally, but a new addition to the skies will see an end to all that.
The highly-automated SkyOS system of the Skyryse One brings a new level of simplicity and safety to general aviation, thanks to its advances fly-by-wire flight system; a dynamic envelop protection feature that constantly monitors pilot inputs, environmental conditions, aircraft status, and flight parameters to keep you in a safe flight envelope; interactive and triply-redundant flight control system usually only found on fighter jets and airliners; and even fully automatic autorotation capabilities for when the proverbial hits the fan.

There’s also an auto-pickup and set down capability, an IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) certification; and hover-assist and Swipe-to-Start features.
Skyryse has removed the complex mechanical controls of the traditional helicopter and replaced them with a single four-axis control stick reminiscent of that found in an F-35, thanks to that completely integrated fly-by-wire system and flight control software. The single control stick is combined with two intuitive touch screens, which, uncluttered by the traditional complex array of boxes, controls, and indicators, put the pilot fully in command, while freeing them from mundane, error-prone chores.

Beyond the text, you can also expect a luxurious yet ergonomic interior as well as a streamlined exterior that will wow the lads at the country club or the guests on your yacht.
The company is now accepting orders for its first edition aircraft, which come with a price tag of US$1,800,000, but think of the savings in peace of mind.
