Working hard to get your sweat on during these turbulent times? You’ll need wireless earphones that can keep up. Enter the Beats Powerbeats.
When Apple’s Beats introduced its Powerbeats Pro at the end of last year, the true wireless earbuds took music and fitness lovers by storm. Now, the company has now packed a lot of that new functionality into its Powerbeats, relaunching the popular neckband-styled earphones in time for your anti-virus fitness regime.

With improved battery life (15 hours), better resistance to water and sweat, a more ergonomic design and unforgettable sound quality thanks to 12mm pistonic driver, the new Powerbeats will be a sure winner with runners, cyclists and anyone who doesn’t like the idea of losing an earbud while on the go. Did we mention they’re also US$100 less than their band-free siblings?
With a design ethos shared with the Pro version, the new Powerbeats come with adjustable ear loops, a robust housing, and a set of four ear tips to ensure a comfortable but not noise-cancelling fit – after all, you don’t want to be run over by a truck while you get your groove on.

The fit ensures you can wear the Powerbeats during virtually any activity, and the connecting band, which is now rounded and which is designed to sling behind the neck, ensures a little more security than the flashier Pros. There are controls for volume and track selection, as well as music pausing and activating Siri. Unlike the older model, the new Powerbeats also feature a power button.
Because we all like to be turned on from time to time.
