The first cognac-themed bar opens next week at Hong Kong’s luxurious IFC mall, and it’s called…Pong?
When you think of fine cognac, you’ll probably envision a gentleman’s club-style ambience, plush leather, low lights, power-brokering, costly paramours, and eye-watering prices. Pong, the city’s newest sexy after-hours watering hole, combines an extensive selection of premium and classic cognacs, as well as cognac-laced concoctions created by bar manager and Antonio Lai padawan Jody Ho, and, as the name suggests, a series of digital beer pong tables created by PONGConnect.
These sophisticated tables, which are presently available at 15 venues across Southeast Asia and Europe, feature smart sensors and real-time automated scoring to offer would-be players an elevated beer pong experience.
