The Muraka is a revolutionary new resort suite in the Maldives that brings the aquatic wonders of the Indian Ocean right to the bedroom.

Conrad Maldives Rangali Island pioneered this movement when it opened Ithaa Undersea Restaurant in 2005. Now, the resort has done it again with the opening of The Muraka, the region’s first underwater suite.
Named for the Dhivehi word for coral, the new two-level undersea residence gives guests an intimate and immersive experience of one of the Earth’s most breathtaking marine environments.
Catering to you and your closest eight consorts, this unique suite features a spacious living area, two large bedrooms, a gym, bar, kitchen and butler’s quarters above the waves, as well as both east and west-facing terraces and a private infinity pool.

A spiral staircase descends five meters to an undersea master suite that’s home to a king-sized bedroom, an additional lounge area, and an ensuite. The submerged master bedroom takes its design cues from Ithaa and features a curved acrylic dome, which boasts 180-degree panoramic views of the wonders of the Indian Ocean’s intricate marine life.
If ever there was an excuse to put on a show next time you’re headed to bed, this is it.
