A Trunk for Your Pride & Joy

If you’re a man who takes his golf seriously, Louis Vuitton has created the Malle Golf, a rather unique trunk with your passions in mind.

Louis Vuitton first made a name for itself by crafting exquisite ocean liner trunks back at the turn of the 19th century. Continuing in that ilk, the luxury brand has created the Malle Golf, a stunning golf trunk based on its original Wardrobe trunk – first produced in 1875 – that houses all the accoutrement you’ll need for a weekend on the links.

Part of LV’s Art of Living collection, the new Malle Golf trunk features the brand’s classic monogram print and traditional gold-hued hardware. Standing five feet tall, the interior is specifically designed to house your clubs, balls, tees and anything else you need to master the fairways.

You’ll find a total of 14 slots for your favourite drivers, putters, irons and hybrids. Then there are drawers for gloves, tees, balls (18 in fact) and even a putting green that can be rolled out (yes, although it’s also appropriate for travel, we agree this would look great in your office).

If you really want to drink the LV cool-aid you can even opt for a series of optional extras, including monogrammed towels and club heads, as well as LV balls and tees. Of course, like so much of golf, the Malle Golf trunk comes with an eye-watering price take north of US$120,000.

But sometimes we need to indulge our passions.
