Aston Martin and British titanium bicycle producer J.Laverack have united to create the J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R, the ultimate road bike.
If you’ve been thinking about your health and have decided to hit the road on two wheels to maintain that summer physic, you’re in luck with a new creation from a couple of brands that know a thing or two about performance.

Developed with input from high-performance automotive designers, the new J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R is the most bespoke, most advanced and most engineered road bicycle ever created and one that features more than its fair share of world firsts.
Synergising the shared values of the two high performance British brands, Aston Martin and J.Laverack have applied innovative design and engineering processes to produce a fully integrated ‘visually boltless’ design that’s all about aesthetic purity and obsession to detail.

The J.Laverack Aston Martin .1R combines parametrically designed, 3D printed titanium lugs and sculpted carbon fibre tubes to create a frame that not only delivers an exceptional blend of response and comfort, but also sets new standards of beauty on two wheels.
The new bike features faultless clean lines where bicycle owners would normally expect to find fixings at the stem or seat post. The integrated four piston brake calipers are clean sheet design that have resulted in not a single exposed cable or hose on the whole bicycle.

Even better, each owner will be invited to Aston Martin’s headquarters in Gaydon where a full fitting will take place with the founders of J.Laverack, providing limitless opportunity to customise your .1R’s colour palettes and trim choices, including many available on Aston Martin’s cars, via the marque’s online configurator.
If you’re looking for an extra rugged look, the bike’s carbon fibre can be left bare in order to show off the beauty of the material while accents such as the bottom bracket cups, brake calipers, and the brake disc centres have a special ceramic coating that can be picked out in bronze or muted in black.

The bike comes with its own case, either in aluminium or carbon, which will double as both a travel solution and somewhere to display the .1R appropriately. There’s also a track pump with Alcantara or leather covered handles, that sits securely inside the protective case.
