Photo guru Kodak is the latest to release a 360-degree camera, with the Orbit360 making it easier to catch more of life’s action-packed moments.
We’re capturing more and more of our lives on digital video, which is a great thing. But the more we capture, the more we muse on what’s being missed, the context to the footage we love. Fortunately, 360 cameras are helping budding filmmakers capture the whole story in glorious 4k.
Continuing the trend in 360-degree cameras, Kodak has released the Pixpro Orbit360 4K VR camera. With a dual-camera setup, the new Orbit360 offers an innovative and stylistic approach to an all-in-one 360-degree VR camera scene. The Orbit360 takes a leap in quality from previous Kodak models, with 4K resolution, two 20-megapixel CMOS sensors, and the ability to capture both 360-degree video and stills.
The camera’s two 4K fixed-focus lenses, housed on either side of the futuristic camera body, which are designed to work in tandem, to capture and automatically stitch 360-degree 4K video and easily upload 360-degree photos and videos to social media channels.
Sporting a minimalist yet eye-catching design, the new Orbit360 features a wifi connection for image transfer, including almost real-time social media posting, shared through the Pixpro app, as well as Bluetooth connectivity for a remote that’s sold separately.
The Orbit360 features up to 128GB of internal storage via microSD memory card slot.
