Omega has released the new Seamaster Olympic Games Gold Collection, watches inspired by the coveted medals of the Olympic Games.
Few awards in sports compare to an Olympic Games medal. While victorious athletes competing in the ancient Olympics received a crown made from a twisted olive branch called kotinos that had deep religious significance for the ancient Greeks, today’s winners expect something a little more valuable, and nothing beats an Olympic medal.

Dedicated to these coveted awards, the new vintage-styled Seamaster Olympic Games Gold Collection pays homage both to the Olympic Games and to the brand’s involvement as Official Timekeeper, a role that dates from 1932.
The latest Olympic-inspired collection features pieces with 39.5mm cases in three different types of gold – 18K yellow gold, 18K Sedna gold and 18K Canopus gold, an exclusive white gold alloy distinctive for its high brilliance, whiteness and longevity.
In addition, 18K gold has been used for the “leaf” hands and applied indexes of each watch, while the domed dials are light, eggshell white enamel with a distinctive vintage Omega logo, minute track and Seamaster wording, also in enamel.

On the pieces’ casebacks, Omega has honoured its heritage by including an 18K gold ring, which includes all the known host cities and dates from the brand’s Olympic Games journey, from Los Angeles 1932 up to Los Angeles 2028.
The watches, each of which is driven by a Master Chronometer calibre 8807 movement, can be purchased separately and are presented on leather straps in either brown or black.
