If your perfect holiday includes privacy, sunshine and an exotic location, in that order, Noku Beach House should be on your bucket list.
There was a time when affluent travellers seeking the ultimate island paradise would slip into a holiday resort – then came luxury villas. Bali has again raised the bar for lavish travel with the launch of Noku Beach House, a game-changing retreat perfectly perched on the Seminyak beachfront.
So you feel you’ve earned a wee reprieve to the Island of the Gods. Well done. However, we know you don’t want to fight for beachfront supremacy with the masses in Kuta or Jimbaran. What you need is a little privacy for you and your closest consorts, a place where the cocktails are always chilled and the music always playing, where there’s space to entertain and space to find yourself.

Noku Beach House is a luxurious new hideaway ideally suited for a tropical escape with mates and matettes. Operated by villa gurus Elite Havens, and staffed by its own army of butlers and chefs, this six-suite mansion is oriented toward the sea (naturally), and features all the creature comforts you could hope for, from a long azure swimming pool and multiple dining areas to tropical gardens, a full-size portable tennis court, a state-of-the-art sound system with its own radio station, and a private spa complete with oasis pool and outdoor cinema.
With interiors by award-winning interior designer Alex Zabotto-Bentley, Noku Beach House offers a Zen-inspired space with Moroccan accents, bespoke furniture, and Indonesian antiques. Everything from plates to teapots has been crafted in local Balinese villages, while the outside poolside dining and rooftop terrace are built from an up-cycled century-old pier from Borneo.

After a day lounging by the pool, exploring the local communities, dining up a storm al fresco, or challenging yourself on Seminyak’s breaks, retreat to one of six contemporary bedrooms, each of which features spacious bathrooms in herringbone tiles and balconies that embrace views of the sea or gardens.
You might even be able to spot said masses, in the distance.
