Breitling has breathed new life into one of its most iconic collections with the arrival of the new Navitimer 1 family.
Since its release in 1952, the Breitling Navitimer has been one of the world’s most beloved chronographs. First launched 65 years ago, the watch’s circular slide rule meant the Navitimer was quickly adopted by pilots of all passions and persuasions. Now, the Navitimer 1 Collection has been extended to include eight new references, whose range of sizes, dial options, bracelets, and straps ensures that there is a perfect Navitimer 1 for every daring gentleman.

The Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 46 makes a bold style statement with its impressive 46 millimetre 18k red gold case. Available in two configurations – one with an anthracite dial and a black alligator leather strap, and the another with a silver dial and a brown leather strap – the watches are equipped with Breitling’s bidirectional rotating bezel with circular slide rule.
The hour and minute hands of both watches are coated with Super-LumiNova, which makes them easy to read in all lighting conditions, while each has contrasting subdials (the “inverse panda look”), an indication of the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 within, an automatic movement that delivers a power reserve of more than 70 hours.
A little tamer on the wrist, the Navitimer 1 B01 Chronograph 43 (above) has been crafted in four compelling versions, the most elegant of which features an 18k red gold case with a blue dial on a black alligator leather strap.

The movement at the heart of the Navitimer 1 Chronograph 41 is the COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 13 chronometer, which is wound automatically by a unilaterally acting ball-bearing rotor, delivering a power reserve of more than 42 hours. These watches feature a screwed stainless-steel caseback, as well as hour and minute hands coated with Super-LumiNova and a convex sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
