Taking its name from the Leith Docks of Edinburgh, where the distillery is housed, the newest Scottish gin sensation is Leith Gin, a uniquely herbaceous tipple and the first of Gleann Mór Spirits’ geographical range.
The port of Leith has a spirited history of importing and producing gin, dating back to the 1700s. It was the gateway to one of Scotland’s most important 18th-century trading partners – the Netherlands – from where the Dutch East India Company imported luxury goods, including gin’s precursor, genever.

After falling out of fashion during the 1900s, gin is surging back into hearts and minds right across the globe and Leith’s ‘big sister’, Edinburgh, apparently consumes more gin per head of population than any other city in the world!
The new 100 percent grain spirit gin boasts a total of ten botanicals, including licorice, ground nutmeg, cinnamon bark, lime peel, and orris root.

The result is a delicate and light spirit with a fresh, grassy nose with touches of citrus and sweet juniper, followed by a dry palate with hints of angelica root, and a refreshingly clean finish that lends itself ideally to artisanal gin and tonics.
Bottled at 46% ABV this is a heady spirit for true ginophiles.
