The new beachwear collection from Ermenegildo Zegna is all you need to strut your stuff on Asia’s beaches this summer.
It’s that time of year again, when we embrace the heat of summer in Asia by making our way to the beach, the sea or the pool to catch up with friends and celebrate the end of summer. And to celebrate in style you’ll need the right threads, something that sends the right signals, that’s bold without looking douchie, elegant but still playful. We think we know what you should be on the look out for.
Italian fashion label Ermenegildo Zegna has unveiled its latest men’s beachwear collection. Designed by Zegna artistic director Alessandro Sartori, the new line features 67 eye-catching pieces, ranging from swimming trunks and boatneck shirts to stylish polos, totes and even towels. Items have been crafted in fast-dry nylon, cotton, microlite and Teflon blend.
Initially available in the brand’s boutiques in Australia, the line – which was produced by Carisma Group textiles and Isa Septa SpA, who make Zegna’s underwear – is expected to reach Asia in time for the northern summer.
We especially like the vintage-esque blue seersucker mid swim shorts, although the irony of the ‘liberty blue brush swim briefs’ has not been lost on us.
