British audio company Bowers & Wilkins has released three new takes on its P-Series wireless headphones.
We are an innovative species and give us enough time, we will improve on our past performances, invent greater technology than what previously existed, and generally evolve concepts we already created. Look at your phone – you remember that Motorola brick you used to carry in your pocket like a lump of lead? Now you’re slick, connected, and surfing on a wafer-thin mini-computer. Remember your first girlfriend? She will always have a place in your man archives, but few of us settled down with the first chick that gave us a second look. Instead, we grew in confidence, deciphered the mind of the woman (or at least attempted to), plotted our strategy and in many cases bagged a keeper. Even with films its often worth waiting for the sequel, when characters mature, plots unravel with ease, and the sense of escapism that we look for in cinema becomes natural.
Be good to your ears and reward the savvy British engineers at Bowers & Wilkins with a pair of their new P-Series headphones. The three new form factor additions to the series include the flagship, the PX7, an over-ear ANC headphone finished with woven carbon fibre inspired by race cars that’s as perfectly suited for long-haul travel as it is for midnight gaming.
For something a little more subtle, the PX5 headphone boasts many of the attributes of the flagship but in a more discrete on-ear form, complete with 35mm drivers, a 25-hour battery life and soft sheep leather cups that make you want to suck your thumb; while the P13 wireless in-ear neck buds with Dual Driver technology beg to be taken on your next hike, gym run or commute.
All models are powered by Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codec to optimise the audio quality and reduce latency, ensuring spectacular sound quality and the ability to hold the chaotic world around us at bay.
Here’s to killer cans.
