If you’re looking to make the most of the warm evenings before Hong Kong’s winter arrives, The Murray hotel will host a mid-Autumn barbecue at The Arches’ semi-outdoor terrace.
Winter tends to come out of the blue in Hong Kong, like a little white-gloved hand that appears out of nowhere and slaps you into next week. All of a sudden we’re looking for layers, scouring for scarfs, and Googleing hot toddy recipes. Before you succumb to the city’s seasons, you might want one last hurrah in the form of an afternoon of grilled delights in the heart of the city.

The Arches at The Murray Hong Kong will host the Barbeque Under the Arches from September 30 to October 3, with live cooking stations and a gourmet barbeque complemented by a buffet of hearty salads, soups and sides. Grilled selections will include Cantonese barbecue dishes, satay skewers, barbecued meats, and seafood, which come with seven all-important house-made sauces, from traditional garlic herb butter sauce to uplifting pineapple salsa.
If you still have room, the culinary team will also present an assortment of confectioneries, fresh fruits, and an even an ice-cream trolley.
