Celebrate the start of the summer months with Alta Belleza, a tequila finished with the best of Napa’s vineyards.
If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times: there’s tequila and then there’s tequila. As you grow wise with age, and strive to fill your life with the finer things in life, we’re sure this is a fundamental adage you’ve come to know and respect. Alta Belleza, a five-year-old tequila developed by Casa Noble‘s maestro tequilero Jose ‘Pepe’ Hermosillo, is the latter in all its glory.
The first release in the brand’s Colección del Fundador or Founder’s Collection, this stunning example of the agave distiller’s art marries the agave fields of Jaliso with the wines of Napa’s To Kalon Vineyard.
The 100 percent blue weber agave spirit, which is triple distilled and aged in French white oak, is finished in barrels once used to age the winery’s Robert Mondavi To Kalon Cabernet Sauvignon, and the result is a distinctive, intense flavour and an eye-catching copper-red hue.
Look for touches of green apple, toasted almond, week-long roasted agave and cinnamon on this extraordinary sipping tequila, a gift for a special mate, or a talking point on the home bar.
So good it’s almost worth a trip to Mexico.
