Leica presents its Q system camera on khaki-hued leather for the perfect limited-edition travel essential.
If you know your cameras, you’ll probably already know what a little powerhouse the Leica Q camera system is. With its fast Leica Summilux 28 mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens and 3.68MP integrated viewfinder, the full frame Q system is ideal for low-light shooting as well as street, architecture and landscape photography.
If shooting pics of jungle warlords or drug cartels is on your to-do list, it’s handy to have such a powerful bit of kit decked out a little more discretely. The Leica Q Khaki is presented in an olive khaki leather trim while the engraving of the classic Leica script on the top plate of this special edition is also filled in matching khaki. A carrying strap in the same colour underlines the stylish design of the silver camera body and lends the special edition a look reminiscent of the classic Leica M ‘Safari’ models.
The technical specifications of the Leica Q ‘Khaki’ are identical to those of the standard model of the Leica Q. All functions of the camera are clearly laid out and logically placed to guarantee perfect ergonomics while its clear and logical menu concept provides rapid access to all essential functions and enables users to programme personalised settings.
The Leica Q also delivers video recordings in full-HD quality. Depending on the scene and subject, users can choose between 30 and 60 full frames per second for video recording in MP4 format. The camera also features an integrated Wi-Fi module for remote control and digital transfer of still pictures and video to a smartphone or a tablet with the Leica FOTOS App.
The special edition of the Leica Q ‘Khaki’ is strictly limited to just 495 pieces.
