The newest formal footwear collection from John Lobb will have you turning heads in the office and the boardroom.
It’s one of the world’s oldest adages, but men have been, are and will forever be judged on their shoes. Even today, in an increasingly casualised world, guys who make a little effort and present themselves with the right footwear win instant credit with those they need to impress.
Shoe guru John Lobb has added five new distinctive hand-crafted pieces to the brand’s Artisans’ Series. Defined by purity, lightness, and mastery of technique, the new shoes have been created by Artistic Director Paula Gerbase in unison with the John Lobb Bespoke Atelier.
The company was founded in 1849 in London and continues to make luxury shoes and boots, as well as lines of small leather goods, for discerning gents.
The annual series celebrates the craftsmanship of the brand while also highlighting the inherent innovation at every stage of the design and making process, from the development of a unique leather tension technique that allows for completely seamless models, through the
selection of special leathers from the best tanneries.
The new additions include an Oxford shoe, a single buckled shoe, a loafer, a slip-on and a lace-up boot – all with a masterful seamless construction that literally fits like a glove.
