The Henley, the 2022 rendition of the John Lobb Saint Crépin shoe, is a limited edition wardrobe stunner.
So, you’re in the market for some new dress shoes? Good show, after all, clothes maketh the man and we’re often judged by what we wear on our feet as much as what’s written on our business card or which watch we wear on our wrist. So, if you’re looking to splurge a little, you’re in luck, with the release of the limited-edition 2022 rendition of John Lobb’s Saint Crépin derby shoe.

Introduced annually since 1996, the limited edition Saint Crépin model commemorates the craftsmanship of bootmaking whilst highlighting the unrivalled skills and uncompromising quality intrinsic to London bootmaker John Lobb.
Henley, the 2022 rendition, created using the 0118 ‘last’ crafted by the bespoke Parisian atelier, further celebrates the house’s heritage. Limited to just 500 individually numbered limited pairs (so you better be quick), each Henley – available in dark brown, oxblood, or black calf leather – is the culmination of six weeks of highly skilled craftsmanship by John Lobb artisans in Northampton, England.

The sweeping lines of the two-eyelet derby are achieved through a meticulous spiral whole-cut construction, giving the shoe its distinctive silhouette.
Featuring one continuous wraparound hand-sewing detail, flat waxed laces, and a Russet-stained Prestige leather sole, the Henley is crafted in fine leather and in the case of the dark brown and oxblood releases is treated with a specialist burnishing technique that uses heat and friction to bring our natural oils to the surface, making each pair unique.
