IWC continues its Le Petit Prince special editions collection with the addition of the watchmaker’s patented Timezoner function.
Whether you’re flying across oceans or hanging out on a distant asteroid, like Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s most famous character, the Little Prince (who, like the author, was also a pilot himself), it’s always good to be able to keep track of time and timezones. This feature has been one of the most important aspects of IWC Schaffhausen’s pilots watch models and has now been incorporated into the watchmaker’s Le Petit Prince special editions collection.

The Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Edition “Le Petit Prince” is limited to 1,500 pieces and features a striking blue dial that will grab all the right glances. The new pilot’s watch (Ref. IW395503) features a 46-millimetre stainless steel case, a midnight-blue dial, and a city ring made of blue ceramic that offers a pleasing contrast to white luminous coated numerals and hands.
The patented Timezoner function enables globe-trotting gents to change between different time zones effortlessly. All they have to do is press down the bezel, with its clearly depicted cities, turn it to the desired location and release. The patented Timezoner mechanism works without stopping the movement; even when crossing the dateline, not a single second is lost.

The watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 82760 calibre, a robust and precise automatic movement that features a bi-directional Pellaton winding system. Enhanced with components made of virtually wear-free zirconium oxide ceramic, it builds up a power reserve of 60 hours, while the transparent glass back allows an unimpeded view of the decorated movement.
