Space Inspired
To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of ground-breaking American astronaut Scott Carpenter, Breitling has created a slick new take on the Navitimer.
Carpenter orbited the Earth three times during NASA’s 1962 Mercury-Atlas 7 mission – the second American to ever do so – and on his wrist as he soared through the heavens was a one-of-a-kind Navitimer, custom-built by Breitling for space.
Limited to just 50 pieces, the new Navitimer B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute Scott Carpenter Centenary features a deep blue dial that evokes the colours of the Earth as seen from space, three subdials for running seconds, chronograph minutes, and hours and a discreet date window at 6 o’clock.
This new horological head turner is powered by the manually-wound Breitling Manufacture Caliber B02 movement, with a 24-hour display and a 70-hour power reserve, and comes paired with an alligator leather strap that’s secured with a white-gold folding buckle.
A sophisticated homage to the daring men of NASA, the new Navitimer not only looks great on the wrist but tells the story of the early pioneers of space exploration, making it a great choice for watch aficionados looking for wrist candy with a story behind it.

Vintage Revival
Sound gurus Bang & Olufsen have gone vintage with the new Beogram 3000c turntable.
If you have money to burn, a hankering for heady nostalgia, and a thirst for crystal-clear audio, the new Beosystem 3000c – an eye-catching recreation of the iconic Beogram 3000 turntable from 1985 – is a savvy sound solution for today’s urban audiophile.
Meticulously recreated in hand-crafted walnut and re-anodised aluminium (sourced from original models) to mirror the retro original, and paired with a cutting-edge Beolab 8 stereo speaker to thrust the unit into the now, the turntable, limited to just 100 individually numbered sets, seamlessly marries the ritual of vinyl with the fluidity of today’s listening habits.
Capturing the allure of the original Beogram 3000’s floating appearance and refined control panel, which garnered it a loyal following, this third release in Bang & Olufsen’s Recreated Classics series features a dust lid, fabric cables, and a future-ready pickup cartridge.
A sophisticated addition to any mancave, this tenacious tribute to vinyl superiority will elevate your home décor while whispering sweet nothings to your ears.

Your New Strat
A E-tastic Whip
Ah, the times we live in – did you ever think you’d live to see a hybrid Corvette? Well, just such an e-stead snapped necks at the recent Goodwood Festival, the world’s most lavish showcases of wonderful whips. The roar of innovation meets the heritage of horsepower with the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, Chevrolet’s first-ever electrified, all-wheel-drive Corvette—a bold fusion of classic muscle and cutting-edge hybrid technology.
Featuring the striking mid-engine design of the eighth-generation Corvette, the E-Ray, available in both removable roof coupe and hardtop convertible models, incorporates functional enhancements that highlight both its capabilities and efficiency. The only sports car to unite a naturally aspirated V8 with an electrified all-wheel-drive system, delivering the thrill of classic power and the lightning-quick response of modern electric performance, the E-Ray can rocket down the road, hitting 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds.
Fortunately, reigning in all that power is an intelligent eAWD system that constantly monitors the driving surface and adapts in real time to maximise grip and control, while its 1.9kWh battery recharges automatically through regenerative braking, coasting and everyday driving, for a seamless and efficient hybrid experience. The hybrid even has a Stealth Mode that allows for purely electric driving of up to 70 km/h.
