Step into a world of opulence and mystery at Wonder Room, Singapore’s newest nightlife destination and micro-club space.
Singapore has made a name for itself with its nightlife and for a good reason. While the Lion City has a reputation for being a little puritanical, its innovative dining, cocktail and clubbing scene increasingly draw punters from across the region and now clubbers have another reason to book air passage to Singapore with the arrival of the Wonder Room at the new Singapore Edition hotel.

Opening this month, and situated on the lower level of the hotel, discretely behind its signature spiral staircase, the Wonder Room is a transformative space set to become the city’s most elevated evening escape. Guests pass through a mesmerising bronze mirror tunnel that sets the stage for a sophisticated night of sophisticated revelry – think rich interiors adorned with theatrical velvet, architectural elements that include a charcoal concrete dome ceiling and dark walls, plush furnishings, and antique mirrors with black mirrored glass.
Taking centre stage is the extravagant Gold Bar, where guests can savour curated cocktails and be enveloped in the venue’s elegance and intrigue. A chic, antique pool table surrounds the bar, infusing another signature ‘Edition’ layer into the space. Seating arrangements include red velvet stools, benches, and banquettes while a gold velvet sofa, chair, and velvet ottoman give a sense of elegance to the dark, brooding space.

The journey of allure and excitement continues with Wonder Room’s sensational menu, offering bites and cocktails that range from the Clover Club, a refreshing mix of gin, blanco vermouth, raspberry, lemon and velvety egg whites, to the smoky El Diablo, mezcal, cassis, ginger beer and lime, and the Paloma, which pairs tequila, pink grapefruit soda and the perfect dash of salt.
If you’re looking to impress, there’s caviar paired with blinis and crème fraiche; rich Iberico Ham Bellota with garlic bruschetta and marinated olives; Wagyu sliders with cheddar cheese, spiced pickles and a speciality burger cocktail sauce; and flavourful chicken popcorn with ginger, curry and a manuka honey mustard.

Offering a mini-club experience, the venue’s resident DJs include Farah Farz, Bernadette Belle, Nicolette, Candice Teo, DJ Aldrin, and Yafith Hamid, as well as sensational dancers, promise the kinds of electrifying moments that sleepy old Singapore is increasingly becoming known for.
