Celebrating the chilly season ahead, gin brand Martin Miller’s has created Winterful Gin, a seasonal release we think you might like.
There’s something about winter that makes us slow down, reflect, and savour moments a little longer. Perhaps it’s the change in temperature, although Asia’s winter is pretty mild. Perhaps it’s the knowledge that the year is almost at an end. Perhaps it’s the festive season, one which brings us together to celebrate family and friendship. For whatever reason, winter is a great time to sip great gin, especially if it’s a gin that’s been craft specifically for the colder months.

In its newest seasonal variant, Martin Miller’s Winterful Gin, the gin brand has taken inspiration from the botanicals commonly used in home-made mulled wine recipes in both England and Iceland (where it is known as Jóla Glögg), creating a winter edition that pays homage to the brand’s dual heritage: an English distilled gin blended with the purest Icelandic spring water.

The gin is created from Martin Miller’s Gin’s iconic twin-distilled Original blend, a delicate balance of citrus and juniper. Botanicals associated with England and Iceland’s winter tastes – principally cinnamon and mandarin orange peel – are then added via a third distillation.

The result is a gin with warm and complex flavours of cinnamon added with the edge of mandarin peel. Combined with the ever-present aromas of Martin Miller’s Original Gin, Winterful Gin features great complexity and depth, making it perfect for both warm and chilled seasonal cocktails.
The perfect excuse to take things nice and easy.
