Weave Living expands its Hong Kong footprint with the arrival of a new lifestyle co-living property at Kai Tak.

You might not know this, but Hong Kong’s iconic former airport was named for two businessmen, Ho Kai and Au Tak, whose Kai Tak Investment Company first developed the reclaimed land that the airport would later be located on. Kai Tak was the city’s official airport from 1954 to 1998 and was considered one of the trickiest to land at in the world thanks to its location – hemmed in by mountains and apartment buildings – and becuase of the slow-speed 45-degree turn required just before landing. Since closing in the late 1990s the runway has laid dormant but now, finally, it is being developed, which brings us to the arrival of Weave Living.
