Contemporary vegetarian Indian restaurant Veda launches an all-new cocktail selection inspired by Hindu mythology.
The new menu features ten irresistible cocktails, with three unique libations designed by two-time Bacardi Grand Prix National bartender award champion and founder of one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, The Wise King, Sandeep Hathiramani.

Those who are mad for mango will love the rum-based The Wonderful Mango, which blends fragrant kafir lime and a splash of yoghurt, giving it a smooth and fruity finish. Packing a punch, the tangy and zesty Gate to God combines paan-infused vodka with muddled cloves, fennel and cardamon, a complex yet refreshing libation.
The Chai Martini is an elevated and contemporary-Indian take on the classic Espresso Martini. The vodka-based concoction has been infused with Indian spices such as cardamom, cinnamon and ginger, giving it a warming and slightly sweet mouth feel and finished off with creamy egg whites.

Those with a delicate palate will adore The Pink Lady, sweet in appearance and taste. The blush-coloured tipple is feminine and light-bodied, with flavours of lychee and rose shining through with every sip.
Cocktail lovers with more robust palates can opt for A Moon and A Sun, a masculine concoction that blends whiskey and cold brew coffee together with chai-infused vermouth, expertly mixed to create the perfect digestif for the night owls.

With over 20 years of experience in crafting and perfecting cocktails, Sandeep Hathiramani and has taken inspiration from the colours of the Indian flag to create his very own signature cocktails titled Courage, Peace and Growth.
Courage represents the orange, harmoniously blending N.I.P Gin with saffron and a fresh carrot base. Peace is a playful twist on the nostalgic piña colada with a pineapple base combined with creamy ricotta, almond rum, and chia seeds which gives it a smoothie-like texture. Sandeep has also turned the traditional Margarita on its head to deliver Growth, a nourishing blend of Mezcal infused with spinach that’s been cold pressed, offering lots of micronutrients with every sip.
