Franck Muller’s new Vanguard S6 Yachting makes you want to hit the seven seas.
Swiss watchmaking brand Franck Muller is pretty well known for its larger-than-life timepieces, watches which combine original designs with masterful craftsmanship and astonishing complications. Among the brand’s lines, the Vanguard collection stands as the sporty-chic alternative to fussier complications, and the newest rendition of one of the collection’s most popular models, the Vanguard S6 Yachting with skeletonised dial, is its boldest yet.

Inside the 18K rose gold Cintrée Curvex case, the otherworldly art of Franck Muller unfolds. Under perfectly curved glass, intertwined bridges in oceanic blue evoke the image of calming sea waves.
The compass markers on the inner flange ring and the constantly sweeping wind rose at 6 o’clock of this oh-so-stylish timepiece takes its owner onto a great voyage of discovery (one preferable done under sail). With nylon on the top and rubber at the bottom, the nato strap perfectly accentuates this refreshing nautical addition.
Equipped with a manual-winding mechanical movement, this dynamic timepiece is magnanimously complimented by seven days of power reserve, because the seas can be a perilous place to venture.
