If you’re checking out Tokyo’s upmarket district of Ginza, Ushigoro S Ginza, Tokyo’s newest yakiniku joint, is definitely worth a visit.
After a day battling it out across a boardroom table, make for Tokyo’s newest BBQ restaurants and set yourself up in one of Ushigoro S Ginza‘s 11 private dining rooms. With premium beef and exclusive alcohol options from around the world, this chic new man cave offers a private chef for each room, ensuring your cut of choice is cooked to perfection, right in front of your eyes.
Alternating between five set menus, catering for two to six guests, dishes feature the rare Kuroge Wagyu beef from the Tamura and Kawagishi farms, as well as the pioneer of the Kobe beef movement, Sanda-gyu.
With your private chef on hand, you can dictate the rest – your choice of beef can be served raw as fresh tartare, or beef sashimi, paired with uni-soy sauce; simmered in consommé, filleted and grilled with truffle salt, or scorched Shabu-shabu style.
Featuring only private dining rooms, each available for a maximum of 2.5 hours so there’s no mucking around, Ushigoro S Ginza boasts a relaxing, modern Japanese ambience that offers the reverence any modern lad lends to his beef.
