Secret Theatre is back in Hong Kong with a new production titled Art of Dying that sees you having to choose between good and evil.
Date nights can be a bit of a drag, no? Depending on how suave you are, you might be out a couple of times a week, and that’s a lot of carbonara and conversation to stomach. Fortunately, if you’re looking to make a mark and break the monotony of the pursuit, there’s hope in the theatre.

Following the roaring success and record-breaking sold-out run of the group’s The Bonded City’s site-specific immersive show in 2023, Secret Theatre is back in town this year with the world premiere of Art of Dying, a crazed immersive production split over three floors and four activation areas at a special location at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
A showing of Art of Dying is not dissimilar from the dating world – you can be as involved or passive as you like. The show sees two worlds colliding in a high-stakes showdown and audiences will need to choose their path: aligning with the dark allure of inspired gangsters (naturally) or joining the ranks of elite special agents (they’re probably narcs) determined to prevent the destructive villains’ deadly plans. Hardly your average dinner cabaret, this captivating experience merges the best immersive theatre with live and seductive performances that promise an adrenaline-filled ride.
