Whether you’ve worked up an appetite exploring Downtown Singapore, or you’re searching for a bite after work, the new all-encompassing eatery The Spot takes destination dining to the next level.
Tucked away in the new Marina One development, The Spot boasts five in-house concepts including Southeast Asia’s first Macallan Whiskey boutique, a plush cigar lounge, and an 1855 The Bottle Shop wine store for those take-home goodies.

Dressed in dark wood and warm lighting, there’s a large oval bar in the centre of the 500 square-foot space, ringed by deep-set booths, with al fresco seating beyond.
Open for breakfast from 7:30 am, and serving set lunches, an elegant dinner service, and tapas snacks until 10:30 pm, The Spot’s modern European menu includes chargrilled octopus with preserved green papaya slaw, mint, peanut, and a miso emulsion; local skate with pearl rice risotto, dried sole coriander broth, and salmon roe; and hand-chopped beef tartare with lime, sesame, Tong Cai, and slow-grilled green chill “mustard”.

Ask for access to the secret cigar lounge for more intimate gatherings, or head to the Macallan boutique bar for luxury whisky tastings. Prefer something sweeter? A menu of specially crafted cocktails include the Mac and Curry, a sweet and spicy blend of 12-year-old Macallan double cask, malacca sugar, and curry bitters; or Undress Me with bourbon, ginger liqueur, lychee, mangosteen, and egg whites.
The 1855 The Bottle Shop is adjacent to The Spot’s dining room and carries over 800 new and old world wines and an extensive spirits collection.
