Hong Kong has a new social-distanced alfresco playground with the arrival of The Lawn Club at AIA Vitality Park.
Who doesn’t like spending days and night out in the balmy warmth of a Hong Kong summer? Sure, the humidity can get a little crazy at times but as long as you’re dressing for the season you’ll able to make the most alfresco living at parks, restaurants, rooftop bars and now an interactive space on the cusp of Victoria Harbour.

The Lawn Club has opened, providing guests with a premium hospitality and entertainment experience that will tap into your natural competitive streak. Created as a socially distanced garden party, complete with extra-large deck chairs, a variety of dining options, and the kinds of outdoor lawn games gin was created to complement – think Pétanque, PutterBall and Ladder Ball – the space (formerly The Grounds) will offer a full schedule of interactive programming released on a weekly basis.
Guests in each ‘pod’ are able to book their own private lawn games session during their visit to The Lawn Club, and are able to sit back, relax and enjoy DJ spun tunes and regular live performances backdropped against the skyscrapers of Central.

To ensure you keep your competitive edge, there are seasonal libations on offer, ranging from Four Pillars gin and BubbleMe hard seltzer to Pepperjack wine from South Australia, which can be paired with bites from the Shake Shack burger stand.
If you prefer to leave the athletics to the pros, The Lawn Club will also present the biggest sporting events – from tennis Grand Slams to European football – through the summer, live-streamed on a massive screen that you can enjoy from your pod.
To the sweaty victor go the spoils.
