The Force of the Vulcano

For an SUV with power and finesse, Maserati presents the new limited-edition Levante Vulcano.

We all shed a tear when the luxury brands we used to decorate our childhood bedroom walls with, created their first people movers. However, what’s done is done and we can now embrace that marriage of convenience and ball-breaking performance. Now, Maserati presents a limited edition of its SUV – the new Levante Vulcano – produced in a series of just 150 units just a few lucky souls.

Coupled with a Maserati-designed twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 430 thrashing stallions, the Vulcano boasts exterior highlights in an exclusive matte “Grigio Lava” shade, which is further accentuated by dark look rear light clusters, a black chrome front grille and logos, glossy black window surrounds, body-coloured door handles and burnished exhaust tailpipes. Add 21-inch Helios wheels, also with matte finish, and red brake calipers, and you have a whip that turns heads.

Tech touches include a Bowers&Wilkins premium sound system, a soft close door closure system, a 360-degree surround view camera, and full-LED Matrix adaptive headlights.

Inside the new Levante Vulcano, red and black heated, ventilated Pieno Fiore leather seats, complete with contrasting embroidered Trident logo on the headrest, underline the model’s “volcanic” personality, while accents in high gloss carbon fibre, including the gearshift paddles, remind family men that this is still very much an Italian muscle car.
