For French-Japanese fusion cuisine and a Gatsby-style dining experience, head to Tenshino, which recently opened in the heart of Bangkok. Offering a unique twist for private events or a classy dinner to impress friends, this chic restaurant is one to remember.
Replacing the Wine Pub at the Pullman Bangkok King Power, Tenshino has opened offering an innovative menu of Japanese canapés, sharing plates, raw seafood, and desserts, all with a French twist.
Tokyo chef Yohei Okita offers a menu of fresh dishes, made with Japanese cooking techniques and French imported ingredients. Favourites from the menu you shouldn’t miss include lobster with Bordier seaweed butter and yuzu ponzu togarashi spice; and the wagyu beef tartare with caviar and crispy leek nests.
Located on the second floor, this elegant French bistro incorporates Japanese-inspired wallpaper, glass-panelled chandeliers, and a bold Art Deco design, creating a rather lavish setting for a meal packed with innovation and imagination. With both communal and individual tables available, the restaurant is divided into five main sections, each with a slightly different design persona.
After dinner, take a perch on one of the plush red stools at the bar, which boasts an extensive list of artisan sakes, including the Tedorigawa Yamahai Jikomi Honjozo and the Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 50.
