The Solsea is a hybrid-electric catamaran superyacht, conceived in collaboration with world-renowned designer Yves Béhar, that promises to set new standards for sustainable, silent ocean exploration.
Designed for individuals passionate about exploring the seas, engaging in ocean sports, and undertaking long-distance crossings without refuelling, Solsea, the result of three years of research, embodies eco-conscious luxury and advanced design and is as comfortable cruising the Andaman as she is crossing the Atlantic, which she would be able to do staying in electric mode 80% of the time.

With the ability to recharge in just five hours (leave her in the marina and she will actually generate power thanks to her solar panels, returning enough electricity to power a villa to the grid), the new cat concept is laced with AI tech to ensure the yacht’s power consumption is both intuitive and managed.
In addition, the insights of Yves Béhar – who has designed everything from low-cost laptops and fitness wearables to waterproof, rechargeable vibrators – ensure ocean exploration shapes every detail of Solsea’s design, seamlessly merging elegance, efficiency, and sustainability with soft, inviting geometry complemented by natural matte wood tones and bouclé textiles.

Key features of the Solsea include an innovative (and space-saving) rare platform that transforms into a spacious beach club and swim platform; a 70 sqm owner’s cabin with 180-degree views and access to a private external balcony; a lounge pool covered by a versatile mechanical hard-top; and a sundeck with an elevated bar area that’s perfect for entertaining.
Throw in durable cork flooring from Amorim, upcycled ocean plastic, solar panels seamlessly integrated into shading structures, and an eco-displacement hull that enhances hydrodynamic efficiency while reducing emissions, noise, and vibrations, and you have a performance yacht with decent green credentials.
