The Singapore Food Festival, a favourite annual event among Lion City foodies is almost here, and this year’s theme seems especially appropriate.
The culinary showcase, running August 27 – September 12, has been themed Savour Singapore in Every Bite, and while the vast majority of attendees will be Lion City locals, we’re sure they’ll be coming with their A-Game appetites for this gastronomic spectacular.

Held for the first time in a hybrid format, this year’s festival will feature an exciting line-up of over 50 gastronomic and drinking experiences including live masterclasses, virtual food tours, workshops and even secret menus by restaurants from across Singapore.
Highlights of the lineup include For the Love of the S.E.A, a masterclass from Chef Lim Hoe Gern of Laut and Chef Thitid ‘Ton’ Tassanakajohnone of Michelin-starred Bangkok restaurant Le Du; an egg tart appreciation session with chefs Ana Fong and Jason Soon; a chilli crab cooking class with Chef Pang Kok Keong; and a chance to learn the art of Sri Lankan curry with Chef Rishi Naleendra (above).

There will also be virtual food tours of Little India, Tiong Bahru, and behind the scenes with sustainable Singapore beverage start-up CRUST.
We guess the rest of us will just have to live vicariously through our Singapore brethren (you lucky bastards!)
