Housed in the hotel’s reimagined East Wing, and conceived by tonychi studio, Republic consists of a residential-styled Library Reception, Lounge and Bar, all of which have been designed to seduce your senses and quench your thirst.
While each space boasts a distinct interior design and experience, their spatial layouts blends harmoniously, with floor-to-ceiling partitions that may be opened or closed depending on the mood or time of day.
Your experience will kick off in the Library Reception, which takes its inspiration from a grand residential library and is dressed in natural oak and tomes covering the kind of diverse subjects that we expect every modern gent will appreciate.

Adjacent to the Library Reception is the Lounge, with three grand chandeliers and expansive walls adorned in blue herringbone fabric. We thought you’d like that. Here, guests are invited to savour their time in an elegant residential parlour, enjoying a la carte bites and savouring libations from an extensive cocktail menu devoted to a narrative of historical anecdotes from the 1960s, a period marked by cultural and social revolution that saw the rise of style icons, legends of rock music, and the birth of contemporary cocktailing.
The Republic Bar concept, in collaboration with Proof & Company, pays homage to this era where freedom, expression and individuality were celebrated, with a cocktail menu that showcases flavours, ingredients and sensations inspired by the influential hallmarks of the 1960s, and around four cultural epicentres of importance and meaningful change. In turn, the mixology selection is accentuated by a curated selection of vintage spirits.

Smart lads will take a seat at the rich, dark toned, natural wood bar and allow Republic’s bartenders to share stories about a “Mythical Beast” that was once spotted on the tiny island of Singapore, the British designer behind the “Mini Skirt”, the Space Race that inspired “Stardust” and how Ferruccio Lamborghini went from making tractors to “Miura”, the first super car.
In addition to the main bar, Republic offers six unique Home Bars, exquisitely detailed with handcrafted red Venetian glass, and embodying the opulence and residential style of home parties in the 60s (yes, those ones), and at which bartender or vintage spirits ambassador plays host to your remote revelries.
We can hear the jet engines spooling up already.
