Breitling has released its iconic Chronoliner timepiece in a new limited-edition red gold series that will appeal to aviation aficionados, whether in aircraft cockpits or cabins.
With an 18-karat red gold case, a bezel in ultra-hard, scratch-resistant high-tech black ceramic, and an exclusive rubber strap inspired by the steel mesh Breitling Aero Classic bracelet, the new special red gold model Chronoliner combines materials and colours that accentuate its technical and powerful styling.
Ideal as a travel companion thanks to the combination of a chronograph to measure flight times, and a triple timezone display, the Breitling watch’s second timezone indication in 24-hour mode (useful for distinguishing between day and night) is indicated by a red-tipped central hand, while the rotating bezel serves to read off a third timezone, also in 24-hour mode.
The selfwinding chronograph movement, chronometer-certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), ensures maximum precision and reliability and its functions are clearly displayed on a dial worthy of the finest flight instruments, with counters at 12, 9 and 6 o’clock.

Issued in a 250-piece limited series, the gold Chronoliner is water-resistant to 100m and features a caseback bearing the stylized planes that have been a longtime Breitling signature. The entire spirit of aviation conveyed through an original and timeless style that includes an exclusive rubber strap that picks up on the design of the steel mesh Breitling Aero Classic bracelet. The gold and black contrast may also be extended by opting for a leather or crocodile leather strap.
