New holistic haven Recanto Wellness Concept has opened in Central Hong Kong with a collection of treatments designed to help you take an urban chill pill.
It’s been a stressful year (and more) and although we are starting to see light at the end of the global pandemic tunnel, that doesn’t mean you’re not roaming the city like a burnt-out zombie right now. Fortunately, a little loving is at hand to restore your chakras and gear you up for a better 2022.

Recanto Wellness Concept has opened in the heart of Central Hong Kong, promising a new take on wellness and a safe place for corporate warriors looking for healing and a little he-pampering.
The creation of founders Elda and Keliee, this ethereal Wellington Street sanctuary is dedicated to contemporary wellness that doesn’t break the bank. Taking its name from the Portuguese for “quiet nook”, Recanto features calming interiors in slate and wood across its luxurious treatment rooms, with touches of Chinese feng shui and intimate mood lightening (there’s even a bespoke fragrance), creating a welcoming space in which treatments inspired by Chinese traditional medicine are conducted by experienced therapists.

Treatments range from magnetic/lymphatic drainage massages and aromatic body massages to the 90-minute Recanto Signature, which combines a foot massage, foot steaming, and neck and shoulder massage.
If you’ve been hitting the gym, there’s a post-workout massage that uses a special blend of oils to induce muscle relaxation and reduce fatigue, while the CBD body massage uses CBD oil’s natural anti-inflammatory properties to soothe swelling and anxiety and relieve tension.
