Sports brand Prince and athletic-wear gurus Reigning Champ create new classic tennis style capsule collection.
Did you know that the original tennis dress code of all-white was designed back in the 1800s to avoid the display of sweat stains? Tennis whites helped keep tennis a gentleman’s game and today Wimbleton, still the most traditional of the Grand Slams, maintains strict whites standards.
If you’re eyeing a place on next year’s Wimbleton roster you’ll need to dress appropriately. Fortunately, Prince, a brand thrust into the tennis spotlight by game great Andre Agassi when he chose the Prince Original Graphite 107 as his weapon of choice, and Vancouver’s athletic wear brand Reigning Champ have collaborated on a new 10-piece capsule collection.

Channeling Reigning Champ‘s iconic typeface and nostalgic green palette, the new capsule comprises premium apparel and accessories produced by Reigning Champ, including a polo shirt, shorts, a pullover hoodie, a bucket hat, and a visor, as well as limited-edition hard goods including the revered Original Graphite 107 Racquet developed by Prince, which comes with a rather fetching white carry case.
We’re not sure if it’s going to help your performance but it’s tennis so looks and attitude are just as important as a killer forehand.
