When Airbus went looking for the ultimate interiors for its ACJ319neo corporate jets, they naturally went to Italian supercar marque Pagani Automobili.
It’s one thing to have a private jet. It’s another to have an Airbus A319 commercial jet reshaped in your own business jet-travelling image. And then it’s on another level to get a supercar atelier onboard to pimp out said private jet. But that’s exactly what Airbus is offering buyers of its ACJ319neo, a corporate version of its new state-of-the-art A319 twin-engine commercial jet.

The new cabin option, dubbed Infinito, or infinity in Italian, has it all: there’s a sky ceiling, which can bring a live view of the sky above the aircraft – or pretty much anything else you’d like to look up at, into the cabin; curves inspired by nature; lounge and conference spaces separated by walls that turn opaque at the push of a button; soft leather carpets and wooden floors which contrast with the use of carbon fibre in the furniture and wall frames; and light fittings mirroring those found in Pagani hypercars.
“Art and Science can walk together hand in hand: this is the Pagani philosophy,” says Horacio Pagani, founder and chief designer of Pagani Automobili. “The combination of state-of-the-art composite materials never used before in an aircraft, such as CarboTitanium, with the typical design language of Pagani Automobili, has always represented our signature. Applying our renaissance touch into the wider spaces of Airbus corporate jet cabins is the beginning of an exciting new venture for us.”

Airbus’ ACJ320 Family, of which the ACJ319neo is a part, already has the widest and tallest business jet cabin, and Infinito builds on this for an even pleasurable passenger experience. Pagani’s design team created the initial Infinito design, including its look and feel, while Airbus Corporate Jets’ designers contributed their experience in aircraft design and compatibility.
The new ACJ319neo can fly eight passengers 6,750 nm (12,500 km) or 15 hours in style.
