Hit the beaches of Asia like you just stepped out of a gelateria on Capri with the latest swim trunks line from Māzŭ Resortwear.
While we can’t all look like bronzed beach gods this summer, we can at least ensure our style is on point – and when you’re hitting the sand there’s not much to play with fashion-wise. Fortunately, the new collection of swim shorts from Māzŭ celebrates Asian maritime history with classic shapes redesigned for today’s stylish lads.
Inspired by life by the water, the ten new styles tap into the brand’s Asian roots, with powerful prints in nautical tones. These include a range of iconic Sampan prints, inspired by the Sampan water taxis that once populated Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour; and a range of minimalist bamboo print shorts, available in three colourways, that feature a pinstripe effect using bamboo as the pattern and celebrating an integral part of Asian maritime culture with a western approach to design.
In addition, the new line features geometric tiles prints representing the shapes once used to disguise Fuzhou junk boats from approaching enemies. Using this traditional shape and combining it with iconic Māzŭ Resortwear colours created a bold mosaic print. Also making an appearance is a previous best seller, the Junk Twilight children’s design, available in sizes from three to ten years old.
Adults sizes are priced from HK1,200 (US$152).
