The seductive new Lamborghini Urus SE makes its debut in Asia as the brand’s most powerful SUV to date.
It’s almost bonus season, and if you’ve been particularly good this year, you might be in the mood for a little splurging. If that inclination lends itself to neck-snapping horsepower and eye-popping performance you’re in luck as Lamborghini has officially launched its Urus SE plug-in hybrid SUV in Asia.

The Raging Bull’s most powerful and high-performance SUV model yet, the Urus SE promises an unforgettable ride for speed thirsty urbanites. The new model comes equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine combined with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, installed upstream from the new eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing this sleek SUV to leap from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in just 11.2 seconds on its way to its top speed of 312 km/h.
In addition, debuting on the Urus SE is the new centrally located longitudinal electric torque vectoring system with its electro-hydraulic multi-plate clutch, which distributes driving torque variably and continuously between the front and rear axles, ensuring ground-sucking performance and handling.

The transfer case works in synergy with the new electronic limited-slip differential installed on the rear axle, giving the vehicle “on demand” oversteering to convey the feel of a purebred super sports car.
Offering surprising consumption figures for a powerful road beast, the Urus SE can become a fully electric vehicle with all-wheel drive, offering a range of over 60 km thanks to the 25.9 kWh battery situated below the load floor.

Throw in headlight clusters that feature matrix LED technology, an updated cabin designed to make drivers feel like a pilot, complete with a 12.3-inch info screen, and a range of new iconically Lambo colours, and you have a ride that will turn heads without killing trees.
