IWC Schaffhausen adds new 39mm chronographs to its elegant Portofino collection.
When it comes to men’s timepieces, there’s a tendency towards size and bulk. When we think of the watches worn by the nouveau riche, they tend to weigh ten pounds and look flashy as hell. Where’s the finesse?

Adding to one of its most popular collections, IWC’s new 39mm Portofino Chronograph leans the other way. Sporty without being ostentatious, the new model captures all the understated glamour of a timeless unisex design with a round case, Roman numerals, and simple hour markers. The new model also features sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating and is water-resistant to three bars.

Complimenting the existing 42-millimetre Portofino Chronograph, IWC Schaffhausen, the new Reference IW3914 is presented in three stainless steel versions – black, green, and silver-plated.

Each comes with an alligator leather strap that is fully compliant with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
