Joining a global movement, one of the world’s most iconic London Dry gins just went alcohol-free. Introduce your taste buds to Gordon’s 0.0%.
Sure, there are people who don’t love gin, as strange as that might seem. With its floral bouquet and heady, emotion-inducing qualities and mother’s drink stigma, and despite its global renaissance, gin really is one of those spirits that people either love, enjoy and even collect, or hate, despite, and rant about to anyone who’ll listen.
However, if you’re a ginophile that’s trying to muscle your way through dry January, or are simply looking to jump on the low ABV bandwagon, you’re in luck, because one of the most popular gins in the world now comes in a new, guaranteed hangover-free edition.
Drinks giant Diageo has launched an alcohol-free take on its Gordon’s London Dry gin, promising all the citrusy goodness of the original, without the various shades of regret. Made using the same botanicals as the libacious icon, as well as a distillation process that’s a closely kept secret, Gordon’s 0.0% is a bold, juniper-led non-alcoholic spirit that’s also low in calories (24 per 50ml shot) and just as nice in traditional gin cocktails and mixers.
Although we might leave the martinis to the real thing.
