One of the world’s most refined sedans, the Bentley Flying Spur has been given a luxurious refresh for 2022.
When we think of Bentleys, most of us tend to think of the British marque’s two-door modern classic, the Continental GT, and for all the right reasons. It’s low, aggressive, yet refined. However, the oh-so-powerful coupé isn’t for everyone, and for gents who prefer a little more space to breathe, and a little more elbow room, there’s the Bentley Flying Spur, which has just been given a luxurious refresh in time for its third generation release.

Regarded as one of the world’s finest four-door sedans, the 2022 Bentley Flying Spur will benefit from new technology and comfort, as well as a host of new standard features that were once only optional. For example, the 2022 Bentley Flying Spur now comes in a new hue – Cambrian Grey – adding to a total of 62 other colours the luxury sedan can be ordered in. In addition, Traffic sign recognition, hands free boot opening, extended safeguard features, top view camera, welcome lighting and automatic dimming mirrors, as well as the Air Ioniser now come standard.
A luxury grand tourer engineered and hand-built in Crewe with the passenger in mind as much as the lucky driver, the Flying Spur also benefits from state-of-the-art acoustic technology that delivers the ultimate in-cabin experience, one that’s not only comfortable but whisper quiet. This is an extension of founder W.O. Bentley’s own vision. He once stated: “I have always wanted to produce a dead silent 100mph car, and now I think that we have done it” when he launched the brand’s iconic 8-Litre in 1930. if only he could see what was possible today.

In the cabin, new features also include the option of an open-pore veneer, which is finished with an ultra-thin matt lacquer solely for protection. Crown Cut Walnut, Dark Burr Walnut and Koa veneers are all available in an open-pore finish.
