Featuring cutting-edge noise-reduction technology and an enhanced sound range, the new Dyson OnTrac headphones offer meditation for the modern urbanite.
There’s no doubt that we’re a society that takes music seriously – probably more seriously than at any time in history. Case in point is the new headphones from the makers of your girlfriend’s favourite hairdryer. Despite the mundane nature of some of its products (and don’t get us wrong, they’re revolutionary for that space), Dyson has now turned its attention to high-fidelity audio perfection with the new OnTrac over-ear headphones, which boast a whopping 55 hours of play time (that’s on average a single charge every two weeks), even with the world beyond hushed into submission.
Promising crystal clear audio, the headphones combine 40mm, 16-ohm neodymium speaker drivers and advanced audio signal processing to reproduce frequencies from as low as 6 Hertz to as high as 21,000 Hertz, providing deep sub-bass that you can feel, and clear highs at the upper end of the frequency range.

The company’s first headphones feature advanced noise-cancellation that actually ‘cancels’ out ambient noise (up to 40dB worth) an impressive 384,000 times per second thanks to eight separate microphones, while its enhanced sound range reveals hidden detail with deep sub-bass and high-end brilliance.
And if you’re one of those guys that like to customise your look from day to day, you’re in luck; the outer caps and ear cushions, crafted in ultra-soft microfiber and high-grade foam for superior comfort and acoustic seal, come in a hundred colour combinations. And to ensure that great fit, multi-pivot gimbal arms and a uniquely positioned battery in the headband ensure balanced weight distribution.
